The room was spotless, the coffee maker was super-basic, something to make stronger coffee would have been much better, maybe a Keurig. Highlight was the chili stew with the breakfast. I picked this hotel based on a review which mentioned the stew and was not disappointed. Kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. We pass through Cortez several times in a year and will keep coming if you keep the chili stew!

Everything was top notch other than the desk clerk who checked us in the evening we arrived. She rushed through everything and I looked down to put my credit card away and when I looked back up she was gone. She was in a back room when we arrived and we waited a few minutes for her to appear. Whatever was back there must have been very important.
