Staff was lovely. We checked in and went to the room, it reaked of bleach. My wife is chemically sensitive. We couldn’t possibly stay there. No refund offered. Bummer. We stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street. :-(

Fun Motel With A Lot of Character

This place is in a great location and has a lot more to offer than your typical road-trip motel. The retro motif is a lot of fun and each room has a different theme (ours was Return of the Jedi). Theming aside, the rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with refrigerator & microwave. There is also a fun common area with various activities (billiards, ping pong, PlayStation, etc). The breakfast had some unique microwave items (pancake-wrapped sausage on a stick) but got the job done. Front desk staff was great- friendly & helpful. Would love to stay here again.

The Retro Inn has seen better days. Years ago when first staying there, it was less run down and a lot more charming...grounds and rooms just didn't have the same appeal they used to have. Staff seemed less hospitable..thinking it's about time to change out a few things to create the look..maybe a place to start would be the long faded out fake flowers in the outdoor lattice dividers...

Nice place to stay

Very cute and quaint Little inn we stayed in the 1985 suite and it had a Tom Cruise theme. Very fun. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the room was clean although this is an older hotel the staff has done everything they can to make sure that it is what they say. It is the high ratings because they have done so much to make your stay worthwhile highly recommend it.

My friend and I stayed here 14/10-16/10. We had a great time here! The place is so cute and every room is themed! Awesome clubhouse and a great free breakfast!! Very about 30 mins to an hour away from Mesa Verde and Canyon of the Ancients sites (Lowry Pueblo and Painted Hand Pueblo)! 10/10 would recommend! Just a suggestion: there should be posters in each room that say the year (room number) and what happened in that year!
