Blood stains

Checked in at about 10pm and waited awhile for someone to come to the front desk and check us in a room. The room was nice at first glance but as I pulled back the sheets to lay down I started noticing stains, there was a big blood spot on the mattress cover, a yellow stain on the top sheet, and a bunch of weird black and grey marks on some of the other linen. I Went downstairs to see if anything could be done but once again there was no one at the front desk. Ended up having to rip off all the sheets and bed cover and sleep on top of just the bubble as that seemed to be the only thing clean and with the blanket I brought. The jacuzzi was nice but not enough to excuse the blood. We ended up coming to a super 8 to extend our stay.

This was the dirtiest La Quinta I’ve stayed at — and it’s my fifth La Quinta during my trip across the country. The floor was filthy, especially in the corners, and the bed linens were covered in small hairs that were very noticeable against the white sheets. I can only hope this was due to a washing machine that didn’t clean properly, and not because the staff “forgot” to change the sheets. They also clearly forgot to replace the shampoo and conditioner, as we were left with almost-empty bottles from previous guests. On the third floor where we stayed, someone was cooking fish. At first the entire floor reeked, which was really unpleasant — but then the smell started turning into fish soup. I guess they added onions and vegetables, and honestly, it began to smell kind of good. Still, cooking in a hotel room is not safe, and the hotel staff didn’t take any action about it.

had a short but comfortable stay at this property. The hotel is located in a quiet, safe area, with clean and well-maintained facilities. Even though I arrived late at night, the check-in process was quick and easy. They offer online check-in, which helps speed things up upon arrival. The room included a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, temperature control, a TV with plenty of channels, and reliable Wi-Fi. I didn’t use all the amenities like the pool or gym, but they were available and appeared to be in good condition. Breakfast is included. The dining area looked clean and organized, with a good variety of options. The room was generally very clean. I did notice a small towel in the shower and faint marks on one towel and some linens. It seemed like a minor oversight and didn’t affect my overall experience. Overall, the hotel is a nice and comfortable place to rest. I would stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights for a baseball tournament. Upon arrival getting into the elevator there were chicken bones on the floor in the elevator. The lobby and elevator floors were always dirty and sticky. The pool water was cloudy so the boys didn’t swim. In the room the beds were very uncomfortable. They sunk into the middle. The bathroom exhaust fan was very loud and squeaky and it comes on automatically when turning the light on. I’m assuming all hotels around that area use a softener in the water because it felt like taking a slimy shower. Overall it got us through 4 nights but I wouldn’t book there again.

The sheets were dirty, there was something all over the wall and curtains. We stripped the beds and gave the linen to housekeeping. They said the would remake the bed with clean linen. We left and came back 7 hours later to no linen on the bed. Called down to the front desk and they made us get the linen out of the room make our own bed.

The stay was okay. At best. Check in was easy. But didnt realize how small the pool really was. Like 8 people felt crowded. The hallways had an oder. The bed was comfy but the kids were very loud in the halls well past midnight. Banging on doors. The a/c heater sounded like a weedeater. The water felt oily whe. Taking a shower. Asked for tissues from front desk said he would bring it in 30 min. Didnt ask room number or anything. It was..okay.

We booked a room with a jetted tub which was an extra cost. The jetted tub and even the normal tub were so slippery you could not use them and obviously were therefore not clean. Disappointed.
