We ate before arriving at hotel and got to use the onsens privately while others were having dinner. You have to call them for a free 5 minute shuttle from bus stop to hotel. It would be near impossible to walk it and it’s pitch black at night with no lights. Breakfast was delicious, beautiful and filling. Beds were comfortable. Room for family of 4 was very spacious. We were happy to spend some family time in the room. Bring snacks and a deck of cards to enjoy in sitting area. Free shuttle to train station where we took bullet train to our next stop."
