Really bad property; no soap, bed pillows or blankets in the room or available from the front desk (they were "all out"). One bath towel in the room that was booked for 2 adults & 2 children. There was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door and the sofa arms were ripped apart. No towels in the pool area; no maid service during our 2 day stay. Definitely not worth the money; we would never stay here again nor would we recommend it. This hotel is listed as a 3 star hotel on Travelocity which is completely inaccurate; I would rate it a 1 star at best. We feel like we were ripped off by relying on this rating.

First and foremost I would like to apologize. We are under new ownership and in the process of updating and fixing the room furniture. We have had issues with getting our shipments of new linens in, but we do have more now.

This place was a complete dump. The lobby looked like a halfway house with sketchy people loitering around. We waited 15 minutes for someone to show up at the counter to check us in. The hotel was in dis-repair with drywall holes, closed pool, and jimmied open rear door. The elevator barely worked and had what appeared to be a bullet hole. The room had paper thin walls, only 2 Sheets for the bed and no blankets. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall and the lamp was broken and propped up against the wall. If it hadn’t of been so late arrival, we would have immediately left and found another place. Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The AC broke in idle of night, and front desk would not switch rooms or would not contact maintenance guy, and said he would be in at 7am, which turned out to be 10am. The customer service is subpar, and Baymont brand should be ashamed of this Hotel. Then we contacted Travelocity, yes we did get refund for one night but agent told me he would give us $25 voucher for the issues we had on top of that. He could not get the voucher to go thru, so he put me on phone with supervisor. The supervisor said they could not do that, and when I said if an agent promises you that you should live up to it. The supervisor said, if you don't like it, you do not have to be a customer of ours. I told him that was poor customer service and hung up phone, as I was checking out of hotel and did not have time to ask for his manager.Needless to say I will never book through Travelocity again, if that is how they feel about customers.

I was told upon arrival that my room had indeed been cancelled. And the only room they could get me into was at another location at 3 times the price I was on my own to find a place that night

I liked the hotel and enjoyed my stay. However, three days after checkout, the hotel tried to charge my card for $65. I called to ask why, I was told something was missing from the room and the manager would call me back. While waiting for a call back, I was charged $20 three separate times, then two attempted charges of $10 and $5. I called back and the manager answered the phone and told me the alarm clock was missing from the room. There was no alarm clock in the room. I called customer care, they said I could "file a concern" which would take a week to complete. I tried to ask for contact information for the general manager and the owner, customer care did not know this information and had to call the front desk and was only told "Kelly." I called the hotel directly, again, and was told they do not give the owner's information. What kind of company allows owners to use their branding and has NO information on who owns the property and no control over how the business is run?? I really enjoyed the room and was planning another trip next month, but I will be choosing another hotel chain. I will never use the Wynham or Baymont brand again.
