Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites
"This was supposed to be a fun family getaway, but it turned into one stressful issue after another. The biggest problem was the billing situation. After my stay was already fully paid and the original incidental hold had already fallen off, another $1,600+ pending hold suddenly appeared on my card. Customer service confirmed a secondary hold had been placed, but nobody could explain why such a large amount was being held after payment had already been processed. Yes, the hotel issued a $100 refund, but the unexplained $1,600+ pending charge is still sitting on my card. The second major issue was the fridge in our room. It did not work and ruined 10 bottles of baby formula, which is expensive and incredibly stressful when traveling with children. To make matters worse, the staff member initially wanted to leave the broken fridge sitting out in the room. My husband had to repeatedly tell him to remove it because we have kids. One of our rooms also had no air conditioning at all, making the room extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom fans didn’t work either. Other frustrations included: * No towels at multiple points * No toilet paper or coffee stocked after asking repeatedly * The children’s pool/play area unavailable during our four-day stay * Only one room having a window Overall, this stay felt disorganized and nowhere near worth the premium pricing. The location and view from the one room was the only real positive. "
