Friendly hosts! Very clean and nice inside. Fully equipped kitchen. Many updates. Close to the expressway for easy access to downtown. Our biggest let down was the neighborhood. We thought that with the price point we’d be in a nicer area. Very industrial neighborhood surrounded by pawn shops and liquor stores. Felt safe enough, just not enjoyable walking. The backyard is open to a public walk/bike trail so the hot tub did not feel private! A small privacy wall would’ve been nice. That was very disappointing since the hot tub was our main draw to this property. We barely used it. Be aware the beds are extremely firm. Extremely.

We really enjoyed ourselves for a weekend in this lovely home. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, we had lots of fun in the game room, and the house itself is adorable. A big benefit was how truly close it is to downtown. We also loved the Asian market around the block for some great snacks. Check in and check out was very easy.

The house was well maintained and I loved the decor. We had everything that we needed to enjoy our short stay including lots of towels for the hot tub. The host was very prompt in providing details upfront including great spots to explore and local favorite restaurants.

The amenities were less than poorly maintained.The bedding was not cleaned from last visitors. There was human and dog hair in the beds lots of it. I could not believe they did not attempt to change the bedding and all the extra throws were filled with dog hair and unclean. The jacuzzi was literally filthy. The hot water inside the home was scalding. We constantly got burned every time we turned on the water because even warm wasn’t warm it was at an unsafe temperature (enough to have a medical emergency). The host were attentive but no help at all. When I told Matt about the dog and human hair in the beds he said he could not come by that night he would come by the next day. So in other words he told me to deal with it until he comes the next day. We had to buy our own bedding and pillows, wash cloths, etc. I could go on and on about the experience but I rather not relive that unsanitary, unsafe, scam of a rental ordeal again.

This was an excellent property and just what we needed. We came into town for a performance at DeVos- the drive to downtown less than ten minutes. The home was stocked well, very clean, beds were comfy, hot tub was perfect. We loved the game room in the basement. It was a quick stay but was great! Owner also communicated very well.

Had a great time! Lovely home, great amenities… very homey, comfortable and had everything we needed to be comfortable over a long weekend. Great location, close to the highway and Grand Rapids. Would highly recommend this home and would definitely rebook whenhen traveling to Grand Rapids.

Surprisingly large house that was a very comfortable stay. Large kitchen with all the things you’d need. The bed was very comfortable as well (memory foam). Quiet neighborhood with bike path on one side (small note that this is the side the hot tub is on and people can see you. Didn’t stop us from enjoying though!)

Great location for Grand Rapids

Such a great place to stay! We were only 9 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. Great location for concert arena. We walked the bike trail right by the house with our dog to get coffee at The Stray and it was delicious. Love the retro vibe of the house!

Clean, Well-Stocked Home with Great Outdoor Space

We stayed with another family for a weekend getaway, and the house was a great halfway point. It was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and had a fantastic outdoor space. The property wasn’t as close to the attractions as expected, and the surrounding area lacked some of the charm we were hoping for. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-equipped stay.

Simple but Excellent

Nice house, as described. Nice hosts who were excellent with communication. Solid location for my split time between Downtown GR and Gun Lake. This rental had everything I needed for my 18 night stay, and I was happy with everything about it. Smart TVs to unwind at the end of long days, washer and dryer to stay on top of laundry. I stayed alone because this was for work, but this location could easily accommodate multiple adults. The hot tub, ping pong table and other activities seemed very nice, but that was not my priority on this visit: The neighborhood was nice and well maintained, the location provided quick access to 131 and had some options very close for fast food and a very quick drive to Meijer. I recommend this Host and location for sure!

A Perfect Getaway in Grand Rapids!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy house! The home was thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The basement was a standout feature, filled with fun games that kept us entertained for hours. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, and we loved having it all to ourselves.One delightful surprise was the selection of flavored coffees available—they really added a special touch to our mornings. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making their home welcoming and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway in Grand Rapids.
