Great Location in Ft Lauderdale

Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: Could use some updating
Great Location, right on the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel had instant hot water and nice comfy white towels. Beds were comfortable Hotel could use some updating.

Pros: Location
Cons: service & cleanliness
Location: near the beach
The hotel was not at all like the pictured. The bed had a hole and broken spring and the toilet barley wanted to flush. I reported it to the staff and they seemed overwhelmed with other issues going on in the hotel. The final deal breaker was the hot water in the shower that went from scolding hot to cold in a matter of seconds. I reported to the desk as someone could get seriously burned but they seemed to already be aware of the issue. I told them if they knew this this is not a room they should book with the public until the issue is resolved.

Pros: across the street from the ocean
Cons: exterminate the place, hire electrician and management get attitude adjustments
Location: go to beach
Checked in Friday 12/16 for 3 nights, room had a big bug with many legs laying on its back, called staff and they came to remove, 20 minutes later bug crawling across the floor, staff moved us to another room and was in there for 1 hour, mildew smell and air conditioner on 60 degrees, turned air up higher and sparks shot from the air conditioner, called staff and they came to it off , 15 minutes later more sparks shot from air conditioner,, called staff again and was moved to a 3rd room, ordered delivery food, tired and disgusted agreed we would stay because it was late, 2am to be exact, went to my food and bug crawling in food. called front desk again and was asked if we wanted to move again, stated no because it appears the hotel is infested , we tried to relax and get dressed for early checkout and found a dead bug on the floor, went to check out and was told we would have to pay for 1 night, advised no the filthy $118 after arguing they agreed to charge 50% which I be lieve is to much, currently filing a dispute for the charges with credit card and travelocity

Looks can be deceiving

The pictures were not accurate. This 1956 hotel has not been updated in 60 years. The room was filthy. We had to ask housekeeping to clean the bathroom upon arrival as it was full of toothpaste and soap scum. There was also a missing tv remote. The only saving grace is good shower water pressure and the beds were comfortable. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else!

Dirty, no internet, in disrepair

Pros: AC, location, free parking
Cons: The hotel room is dirty. The Internet did not work.
Location: On the beach. Very busy road. Restaurants nearby
The good: location, cold AC, free parking The bad: Bathroom sink fixtures falling off. Bathtub clogged with HAIR. Shower water comes out in one hard stream. Bathroom in complete disrepair. "free internet" was not working. Dirty table.

Nice location to beach. Out dated rooms

The room was dark, not in be best condition. The water in the shower was yellow. The pool was nice and the location was nice. Wouldn't stay here again .

Good Location at Blast from the Past

Pros: Location - Across the street from the public beach. Room 624 looked out over the waterfront.
Cons: Could use cleaning, painting and better outdoor lighting. Furniture was worn and uncomfortable. Sofa sank down enough to be hard to get out of it.
Location: Beach, Restaurants, Shopping
The location is excellent for time on the public beach. It's a relatively small operation that is over-shadowed by high rise condominiums and hotels. It shows it's age in wear and tear on facilities. Unique design of the entrance presents challenges with steps, ramps and a very small elevator.

For the price we paid it was a good for us.

Pros: The location to the beach and ocean drive area is great. They had their own parking lot and free Wi-Fi.
Cons: The door locks did not seem secure unless locked from within the room. There was peeling paint on the soap dish and paint over rust on the door hinges
Location: Fort Lauderdale is very pretty. We liked Nicks Italian and J Marks to eat.
We stayed two nights. There was some rowdy people outside our room one late night but it didn't last long. This place has a nice pool and outside deck restaurant/bar. It's right across from the ocean. The place needs simple fixes and upgrades.

shabby hotel

This hotel is located too far from downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is dated with very few amenities. It has a restaurant onsite which offered satisfactory cuisine, nothing fancy but adequate. Located across the street from the beach which was nice but décor dated and out of style. Expected more for the price. Staff was harried and hotel appeared to be understaffed for February.
