Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Love the view of the ocean. Love the room. The staff is incredibly friendly. Would stay here again and again. Just wish breakfast was included for the price of the room.

The beach location is beautiful, the veranda with rocking chairs and fire pit areas are a great way to start and end the day. The beach area is nice with chairs, a volleyball net, corn hole toss and other activities. The pool area is on the smaller size, but nice and includes a small lazy river. There is an on location shop for coffee, breakfast basics, ice cream and sundries. The hotel is very charming, not too big, easy to manage with kids and has huge potential. That said, the service needs improvement - many of the staff are nice, but not top notch in terms of management (the pool staff chats with you and tosses a ball with the kids, but need to empty the overflowing garbage can or filter the leaves from the lazy river). The front desk staff is friendly but understaffed during peak points and are not very knowledgeable about the area - a concern given there is no concierge. Check in says 4pm but the room was around 5pm, the staff's response was "it begins at 4pm vs being ready at 4pm" so the lobby was teaming with stored bags. They offered drinks coupons, but still. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice, but ours wasn't wholly finished - the safe wasn't hooked up, the bathroom door wouldn't fully close, there were tags still on some of the furniture pieces. Just another sign of lacking top notch management. Overall we had a great time. I love the location, size, charm, but every step of the way I wanted to improve the service and attention to detail

Construction started every morning at 9am with jackhammers and air guns making it impossible to even have a conversation. $430 per night for that type of inconvenience is ridiculous.

Noise is unbearable and starts at or before 9am. No attempt on part if hotel to minimize noise. If you are vzcationing here from the west coast be prepared to be awakened by jackhammers at 6am body time. Ridiculous!!!

Great, quaint Hotel

Pros: Location, feeling of an upscale hotel, but small time feel
Cons: It's starting to get a bit rundown. Needs some upgrades. Also, BRING BACK THE COCONUT scented lotion. Also, no need to charge $75 to extend checkout
Location: GREAT location and nearby to a lot of amenities.
