Overpriced rooms. Check in took forever. Many people were being told their rooms were not ready, even up to 7pm for some. Bathroom vent was hanging when we entered. Had to stand on toilet to push back in. AC didn't work and temp never went down below 75 degrees. Gym was mediocre at best

Terrible experience and now I am sick.

I stayed at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale the nights of Jan. 12, 13, and 14, 2025. The room was freezing cold. Apparently there is no heating system for the hotel. I complained after the first night but it was not solved. I started getting a head cold because of this. My doctor just confirmed that it was because of the cold in the hotel room that I am sick. I am very upset. I want a refund.

While I hate to review the staff and zero so poorly because there were one or two who were very kind and helpful. I have to give that century a big fat zero considering my sneakers were stolen from my room. I informed management that my brand new sneakers had been left in my room within an hour after I checked out and they insisted that they hadn’t been found and proceeded to tell me there wasn’t anything else they could do. While I take responsibility for leaving them, I would expect that after spending $700 for two nights at a mediocre hotel they would offer some form of compensation or at least a further investigation.

My pillows had mold on the bottom which caused us breathing issues in the morning. We called ahead of time to see if we could get a room with a hot tub like the photo in the ad. They lied and said i room did turns out it didnt. Very disappointing
