Arrived after check in time. Room wasn’t ready. The man at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. He was the best part about the hotel. He did arrange for us to get a different room in 10 minutes. There was a leaking ceiling in our hallway. Buckets of dirty water sitting in the way to our room that were there the entire stay unkept. Our room had an odor, unsure if related to the leak in the hallway. Bathroom was run down. Elevator was broken down and we were on the 4th floor. Overall, one our worst stays in a hotel. I would not recommend. Needs a serious overhaul. I couldn’t wait to get home and shower.

We really appreciated how courteous the night manager Ken was. We had a small issue with our room and he immediately rectified the situation. We also thought it was awesome that he prepares to go food bags for the morning travelers. That was perfect for us as we had a tight timeframe to get from Des Moines to Chicago.

Well appointed,?clean and friendly prompt service. Only negative was the bedding. Really heavy thick comforter and sheets. Comforter was tooo hot to sleep with. Sheet only too cold. Needs a blanket
