This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced and far below the modest standard I expect for a "Quality Inn." Where to start? The carpet was filthy. Neither the deadbolt to the door nor the mechanical door lock worked. The bathroom sink leaked. The toilet seat was loose. The bed was tolerable, but getting a restful sleep was impossible given that I could hear every conversation outside the room not to mention people shooting off fireworks in the parking lot. I don't get the feeling this is a particularly rough neighborhood, but I still felt very unsafe at this hotel, especially given the lack of security for a first floor room. Rather than any of these priorities, the thing I was asked during check-in is whether it would be a "problem" that the TVs in some of the rooms did not work. Ironically, the TV was working and turned on when I entered the room. That is the only thing worked in the room. Yes, in most cases I would have demanded a new room or just left for a different hotel, but at 12:30 in the morning, I wasn't in much of a mood to do either. This hotel management needs to buckle down and invest in some serious maintenance of the property or sell it to someone who can. Quality Inns should not be associated with this type of facility.

Every single upfront receptionist acts as if it’s an inconvenience that people enter their hotel. Extremely rude staff, very disrespectful, very unwilling to even look their guests in the eye without attitude. The shower was disgusting, the drain has probably never been cleaned and my shower was almost like a bath with the inches of water that gathered at the bottom.

There was no one at the desk to check me in for 20 minutes after a long day of driving. The room was the grossest one I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in hostels. The floor was incredible stained and your feet stuck to the carpet. I was afraid to take my shoes off inside. To top it off it cost $120. Ridiculous. Don't stay here.

The first room I was in had feces on the wall in three places and smelled terrible. The floors were so dirty and sticky that I literally stuck to the bathroom floor and left footprints everywhere I went. I asked to be moved to another room. This room smells bad, but manageable. However, the lights did not work and the carpet is also very dirty. There is a $25 up-charge for pets that is not advertised until you arrive and they are not keen on cats. Very expensive place for such a terrible experience. Seems like a quiet place, but it is not yet nightfall so we will see how it progresses through the evening. Starbucks is right next door though, so plus on location.
