Main hotel was very inviting, dinner was good, bartender was wonderfully accommodating. Rooms had plenty of space, were cozy and very clean; only complaint deals with airport shuttle. Our family stayed 3 nights in October and our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast and evening meals. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff was friendly with the exception of one instance where one of the associates became slightly defensive. On the first night we were placed in a handicapped room and I requested a change if possible. They mentioned that at the time, they had no rooms available, but to check the following day. The staff was wonderful in changing our room. However, as we transitioned into the new room, my brother’s toiletry bag with expensive shavers went missing. We asked the staff at the front desk if they could check room 216 again. They reported that the bag was not in the room. We checked again on the 3rd day to see if they had contacted the person who cleaned our room. The person stated that there was no bag collected. I mentioned that it was disheartening to know that a bag would walk out on its own. One of the staff members up front became defensive and stated that no one steals in the hotel. I never mentioned the word to her. However, Catherine took a different approach. She asked me if we could check the room again since no one had stayed there the night before (day 2). I agreed and she let my brother and I check the room. I appreciated that she took the effort to help us out one last time. The bag was not in the room, but she asked all cleaning staff to check all the cleaning carts. Sure enough, they found the bag.
