One of the reasons we booked this property was because it has a full kitchen, and we wanted to cook. We clearly communicated with the host (Vishal)/Rank One Stays on day 1 when we noticed water leaking under the sink and onto the kitchen floor. Vishal kept saying he'd check with their team and get back with us. Fast forward two days later, Vishal asked that we contacted their maintenance team, and we received the same message, that they are actively coordinating with their handyman. So frustrated, we stated that we would resume using the kitchen sink and would not be responsible for any water damage. Of course, the handyman showed up for repair 4 hours later. Due to the leak under the sink, we could not prepare and cooked our food for 2 days. As a result, we had to eat out, which was not what we intended to do. We understand things happen out of their control; however, it should not have taken 2 days to rectify the issue. We requested some compensation based on the above mentioned facts but Vishal stated that they did fix the issue during our stay, that they fixed the issue as soon as possible. Really? It took 2 days, out of the 4 nights, to repair the leak and they call that as soon as possible? We have stayed at many rental through out the years, but this vrbo rental is unacceptable and the worst. Stay away from this rental if you can.
