Front desk check in was easy and gentleman was very nice. Our room was decent. Sadly the floor had bright red stains all over it. Many bugs. We were right next to the elevator and so we heard the clunking of it. The elevator now that thing is so scary, it needs to be looked at. It clunked, lurched and jumped. We thought we were going to get stuck, so we took the stairs. Won't stay again.

I will begin with the positives. Staff was friendly and courteous. Property is conveniently located close to all sports stadiums, dining option and Six Flags. I rate the property with a 1 star for the following reasons. 1) This propriety is very old (ancient). The lobby has an extremely strong odor of an air freshener aerosol that I assume is used to mask stale odors. 2)This property has a no smoking in the room rule, however my wife I were given a room that totally reeked of old cigarette smoke. Not acceptable. We were given another room. 3) The 2nd room clearly reflected the age. Old dingy curtains, the sliding doors to the balcony were unlocked. Windows dirty and stained. Both, an indication of infrequent thorough cleaning. The room has very old carpet and furniture. The armchair cloth upholstery had many stains and heavy scratch marks on the wood arm rests. The bathroom is tiny with outdated plumbing and tile. Although we use our own hair products and soap. This hotel only provided one tiny tube of shampoo. Most decent hotels provide shampoo, conditioner and lotions. 4) This hotel i located on the edge of I-35. The noise from the nonstop traffic, made it very difficult to get a good night's rest. 5) No breakfast. All they provided was two portable coffee thermoses for guest to get coffee from if they chose to. Clearly, we preferred coffee from elsewhere. In summary, this hotel is far overpriced for what little it offers.

Was in town for a Cowboys game. It was close enorgullece to walk to the stadium and I could see AT&T stadium from my window. Everything was great. I think there needs to be a breakfast option. Was disappointed that there was nothing. Bathroom was a little small. Everything else was great. Was clean.

The bathroom was clean, the room got cold enough for us to sleep (we like it very chilly in the room), the staff was friendly, and the hotel smelled and appeared clean. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows themselves were uncomfortable, and when asked where we could get food within walking distance, the only option we were told about was Denny's (we found other options). Our reservations said that we would get a complimentary breakfast, and the hotel was set up to look like it would be served, but nothing was provided except very tiny cups of coffee.
