"I stayed at the Riu Palace. The rooms were terrible. Outdated, stains on the walls, paint chipping on tables, old moldy smells, and filled with bugs. "Overall the stay was okay. The hotel has nice views and was very relaxing. Not much for activites or nightlife. They overcharge on the excursions and the souvenirs and the a la carte was always fully booked so I didn't get a chance to eat there, only at the buffet but the buffet food was good. The check in process was slow and people will cut in front of you even though you were there first waiting. You definitely have to lock up your stuff in the safe because I had a coach purse that was stolen from my suitcase and I had a chocolate bar that someone took a bite from. That was a little upsetting."
