"The property tried to retain its historic look, but a large fountain was out of commission, areas further from the lobby were dirty, escalators not working, hotel access from parking garage was inconvenient (parking garage had missing chunks of concrete and the tiny elevator was disgustingly dirty), our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well for some time (grime in corners of floor and molding). Would have preferred wrapped plastic cups in bathroom, as they are more sanitary than glasses. Couldn’t bring myself to use the in-room coffee maker because it was so grimy. Downtown Cleveland has seen better days!"
