When you and your family plan to stay within a short drive from the heart of downtown Chigasaki, the Dai-Ichi Inn Shonan is a popular destination.
The Jinya Ryokan is about 8 miles (13 kilometers) from the town center of Chigasaki. If you would prefer another option, the Hotel New Grand is located 15 miles (25 kilometers) away. More hotel and apartment options in the surrounding area are the InterContinental Yokohama Grand and the The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu.
After you have got a feel for Chigasaki, why not discover a little more of the region? The Kanto vicinity is home to lots of things to offer. Photographers will fall in love with Kanto's beaches, coastal plains and forests. In addition you could visit some of the area's ruins and castles. In this corner of Japan visitors can take up the chance to partake in snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing.
Tokyo is 30 miles (49 kilometers) to the northeast of Chigasaki and boasts Tokyo Tower and Sensoji Temple. The view of 6F public bath was spectacular. It’s definitely not convenient location because it’s the terminus station of the bus from Gora. Going back to Gora you will definitely take hotel shuttle which ends at 5pm, or taxi. We happened coming from Gotemba where the bus stops right outside the hotel. So the only thing we didn’t like - the private hot tub in the room. (1) small that could just fit one (we happened to go to another onsen hotel and in-room tub could fit 2); the room’s tub is at the balcony… let’s not say it maybe too cold at night. It was very dark at night too. There were only very dim light at the corner of the balcony making it very dark at night. — the dark and cold and small tub making us impossible to enjoy the private tub in the room. Not sure how others would enjoy or do that at night. But we think it’s just something that looks nice for you to have but it’s just not practical."
