Transportation from FRA
Passengers on flights to Frankfurt often opt to stay at hotels near Frankfurt International airport because they provide free airport transfers to guests. If you are not staying close to the airport, you can take a bus into downtown Frankfurt from the airport. The buses leave from outside Terminals 1 and 2. You can purchase tickets to Frankfurt directly from the bus driver. Airport shuttles also leave from Terminal 1 just outside Arrival Hall B. Both terminals have kiosks that provide cars for hire. Taxis line up curbside outside each terminal and provide transportation into downtown Frankfurt and other areas. There are two railways services located at the airport. To take a train to an outlaying area go to the railway station at the AIRail Terminal. If you wish to ride the local railway into Frankfurt, go to the station for the S-Bahn, regional, and local trains, which are all located at Terminal 1 on Level 1.
