Flight Review

Mar 16, 2020

Frankfurt airport was less than efficient. Disembarked by ramp to bus to terminal and then I walked a bit to my connecting flight.

Mar 11, 2020

free wine on international flights...awesome!

Mar 6, 2020

It is Lufthansa no more to be said, it is just the best

Mar 2, 2020

Staff member could have been more polite when I had to use the rest room. I hadn't noticed the seat belt sign, but also had a problem that required me to leave my seat. He was rude, rather than politely asking me to return to my seat.

Mar 1, 2020

They moved passengers around so they could be comfortable on the long flight

Feb 27, 2020

Staff very calm and helpful.

Feb 24, 2020

Need to add that there’s a charge for WiFi

Feb 17, 2020

Good nice staff

Feb 12, 2020

Not happy paying for only one bag

Feb 8, 2020

Very helpful service in needing special needs like a wheelchair.

Feb 6, 2020

I had a lot of trouble with the online check in. I tried to purchase a seat and couldn't (it said it was too early: it was 24 hours in advance). I paid for a checked bag online and at the airport they told me they had no record of it. Not good form.

Feb 6, 2020

Again. Thank you.

You're on vacation! Why not treat yourself to luxury? If you're after service fit for royalty and silky soft sheets, book a room at the Grand Hotel Downtown or the Concorde Hotel. However, if you doubt you'll see much of your room, how about a cheaper option like the Five Elements Hostel or the easyHotel Frankfurt City Center?

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Frankfurt

If you like the idea of spending more time at the airport cafes and less time at the security checkpoint on your way to Frankfurt, just follow these helpful tips:

  • Make sure your boarding pass and travel ID are easy to access. You will be asked to show them straightaway.
  • Remove your belt and shoes before arriving at the airport security checkpoint. Items like these are not permitted to pass through the body scanner.
  • All laptops need to be taken out of their protective carriers and placed in a tub prior to being X-rayed.
  • When you approach the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all liquids, gels and creams in a separate tray for scanning. Make sure they're all packed in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Consider the type of footwear you want to travel in. Slippers are great because they're super easy to slip out of when you're doing the airport security checks. Try wearing a pair on your next journey!
  • The list of non-permissible items is forever changing. Browse your carrier's website to learn about what is not allowed on board their aircraft.
