If you're searching for flights to Cape May, your best bet is flying into Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), which is located just under an hour north of the beautiful shores of Cape May. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is farther away but serves more airlines. However you fly in, you'll have a relaxing, sunny vacation ahead of you on the warm sands of Cape May, so don't forget your sunscreen!
Transportation from ACY and PHL
A conglomeration of hotels are strung along White Horse Pike, just outside ACY. Why not spend a night here and enjoy a taste of Atlantic City before heading south to Cape May? If you don't want the hassle of renting a car, take either a shuttle or a cab to the New Jersey Transit Bus Station in Atlantic City and buy Cape May tickets for one of the buses headed south. If you're coming from PHL, it's quickest and easiest to rent a car to get down to Cape May. You can pick up your pre-reserved vehicle at Zone 2, outside baggage claim. Once you catch a glimpse of the glorious beaches, you won't question why so many people choose Cape May vacations. Spend the afternoon lounging on the sand, or perhaps take a boat ride. Rainy day? Duck into a few shops in the Washington Street Mall or visit the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.
