Great Family Weekend at Star Lux ! Check in was fast and friendly on Friday night. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. The heated pool was amazing in the morning. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is steps from the boardwalk. All restaurants and shops are walking distance. Parking was convenient and safe well lit lot. We will for sure be staying here again.

We've stayed here many times, and it has always been excellent. It's a fun place, 60's space doo-wop. Pool and hot tube were immaculate, Comfortable beds.

Nice surprises were a cute free breakfast with coffee/juice from 8-10am And streaming tv ( no DVD player) In room lava lamp is adorable. Not-so-nice things I didnt appreciate that the partial ocean view was mostly of the parking lot and dumpsters In room coffee maker is awful!! Even though 58 degrees outside at night, the fire pit wasn’t on? I was told the fire pit isnt on during summer- yet fall began 2 days ago in 2025… Overall, cute little room (king suite 310) and nice stay considering off season. I would never stay in season because outside noise was quite disruptive of loud motorcyles and garbage trucks.

We had a great experience! The hotel was very clean, Staff was friendly and helpful! Only complaint was bed was too firm (for me) and the bathtub was slippery. When we mentioned this to the lady at the desk, she listened and wrote down the issues. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!!

The staff misled me twice—once the day before I arrived and again at check-in—saying the hot tub and pool were available when they were not. When I checked for myself, there was no sign of “tile maintenance” as claimed: no tools, and neither the pool nor hot tub was drained. It seemed more like staff didn’t want to monitor swimmers that evening. With no amenities, my wife and I had nothing to do but sit in our room watching TV. At check-in, we were told breakfast was from 7–10 a.m., but the next morning it wasn’t ready until 8. Staff seemed confused and at times rude. For example, I was told the bikes were unlocked, only to find them locked. I had to return, then carry a bike out from a pile while the employee watched without offering help, putting my back at risk. I would not return to this hotel.

Starlux is a Plus

Very satisfying… Staff was very polite and helpful… It was downtime… So not that crowded… We got the small little yellow house in the back… Which we were totally fine with… Very comfortable… And the bed and the pillows were great… The hot tub was awesome… And the pool was great temperature as well… Although we didn’t use them… They offered free beach chairs , bicycles , boogie boards were available as well… Miniature golf right next-door… Beach across the street… Coffee station right next-door… Breakfast right across the street… Ice cream right across the street… And a very reasonable price…👍👍💯

Overall fairly good.

Overall fairly good. The TVs would randomly turn on. The light bulbs are the extra bright, bright whites instead of soft white, so everything is harsh to the eyes, especially at night. AC was good, things worked as expected. Has an elevator.
