"Our mothers were McEwens - raised on a dairy farm in PA, and we came to Chicago to celebrate their Scottish Heritage. The Chicago Scots were honoring clan MacEwen this year at their Scottish Games. We came from all across the USA to represent our mothers. This home was the perfect place to stay together. It is large, clean, and beautifully appointed. It is an ideal place for a gathering: it has everything that is stated in the description. We found it to be very comfortable, like the bedding and sitting area. Be aware that it is a split level home, but most of the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen, dining room, and sitting room, are all on one main level. Sadly we did not get to use the beautiful back yard due to rain and being so busy at the games. The game room in the basement would have been perfect for younger relatives (our average age is 70), alas, they could not join us for this. This beautiful home was close to everything we did this weekend. The owner was informative, and helpful whenever I reached out to her. We would stay here again."
