"This hotel is a backpackers in the shape of a resort. We knew this going into it and it served us exactly what we expected once we were in the correct room. We were given a standard room in error the first night and once we bought it to the hotel’s attention the following morning we were quickly moved and offered a free breakfast for the error which we appreciated. The breakfast was pretty good, I can understand why they get decent reviews for food. The deluxe room was much better and somewhere I was comfortable -ish enough sleeping (with knowing what I had chosen to book expecting a backpackers). The standard room wasn’t good - we both got bitten by bed bugs on the queen bed, the shower was unusable, the floor was dirty and hairs (not ours) were found on towels, bedsides etc the tv didn’t connect, the room was under an exterior sensor light that would turn on constantly throughout the night with see through curtains (for light). We had a room facing the road which was very noisy - not just due to traffic noise but music blaring from their cars and horns going at anytime of night. The pool had water in it and we saw a few people enjoying it. It’s extremely close to the airport, taxi’s (along with most things here) are very expensive though. 5 mins or 15 mins = $20 USD. "

"Love everything about this property. On arrival staff treated up nice, we arrived early and could not check in before 11am, so they gave us a beach pass, hung out unit the rest on my group came then we checked in. To the security guard that works the morning shift, you said your name but mi caan memba, but thanks for making mi and mi auntie laugh and good vybes. To Loretta yuh ah good entertainer, we really fuljoy wi self.. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️"

"Clean spacious room. Lovely view. Wonderful staff. Delicious food. Very large and beautiful outdoor pool. The biggest I’ve ever seen. There’s room for everyone in there. As wet as ample seating and tanning areas. Love the convenience shop in the main lobby building. "

"I traveled to Montego Bay as an extension to a work trip to relax. The property is beautiful. The staff are hospitable The town that you can walk through leaves a lot to be desired. I am not sure if it’s always been this way or if the impact from the hurricane. As a single woman it was a little uncomfortable as your always being haggled about one thing or another. Doctors cove was a nice beach close by with crystal clear water."
