Palazzo Veneziano
"Overall it was ok however the bathroom could use a bit more work. Shower head needed to be changed. Very moldy with black stuff all over it. I don’t think they have an actual housekeeping staff that cleans. I think the front desk people just take turns at what they consider tidying up. So that part ..."

Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
"The hotel seems to be renovated and it look amazing compared to the pictures flooding online. The staff were amazing. Our room was spotless. The view from our room was spectacular. During breakfast the view to the gondolas gives it a nice touch and also at night when having a drink you can sit outside and view people riding the gondolas. The only downside was the AC, it was not as strong at night but we never tried to have the front desk make it cooler so that’s on us. Also, the shower was messy because the water went everywhere and there was only a handheld shower head. The big plus in staying at this property is that you’re close to 90% of the big attractions. The Gondolas are right outside the hotel therefore, you can just walk and pay them in cash only and get on. They take you to the Rialto bridge and the grand canal."
