Bed was firm and room was reasonably clean. This motel needs painting, at least. Guests should be warned to bring their own: Kleenex, coffee, kitchen utensils and dishes, and toiletries. When I went outside to the check-in window to request coffee for two, after waiting several minutes for an attendant I was given one packet. Dishes, cups, tissues, etc. are available at an inflated price. No elevators or luggage cart available. Prepare for stairs.

Visit to Austin

The hotel was conveniently located for my visit and easily found. The room was excellent and very clean. There were lots of restaurants close by and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a very enjoyable stay.

New hotel with very poor house keeping practices.

Pros: It is new.
Cons: The staff's attitude toward paying customers. The Staff acts as if travelers are renting an apartment as opposed to renting a hotel room.
Location: Lots of close by shopping.
Our recent trip was for a four night stay and we decided to try the new Bungalows Hotel and Event Center. The hotel advertises it has fully equipped kitchenettes. The room itself was as advertised, was new, was initially clean when we walked in but was not stocked with the bare essentials travelers would expect who are paying the nightly rate for a hotel room. There was no toilet paper, no tissue paper, no paper towels in the paper towel holder, no pots, pans, plates, or dinner ware for the kitchenette. There was a coffee maker but no complimentary coffee packs to enable a traveler to use the coffee maker. As we used the bath towels in the restroom for showering House keeping refolded and placed them back on the shelf in lieu of replacing them. House keeping took our used hand towels and did not replace them as well as some of the wash clothes. Our bed was never made up, the bed linens were not changed, and the carpet was not swept during the entire four nights and days of our stay. Complaints to the desk clerk were met with "I'm sorry, I will talk to house keeping" but no change in service to the room. House keeping did empty the trash cans in the room daily. We went to a local grocery store and purchased the supplies we needed in order to use the room. The final straw happened upon our return to the room the evening of our fourth night when we found the door to our room standing open with our things inside. House keeping struck again. Don't stay here!

Obviously new, coming along in comfort/cleanliness

Location: See above.
Spacious room with wood-looking floor tiles and regular tiles. Only 2 hangers, and gave me 8 more when I asked. Odd overall lighting, with more-than-adequate specific lights at bedside table, desk, kitchen, bathroom. Two issues: Furnish shampoo, conditioner, perhaps moisturizer! Three police cars with blinking lights and uniformed officers arresting a man stretched out on the upper walkway, a floor above my room, was tense on a Saturday night. On the up side, a great location for my purposes.
