The property was well maintained and clean. The customer service definitely needs to be improved. My wife upon check in was not told the total amount of charges that would be held on her card. Her card was charged and then a secondary charge showed the following day in the middle of the night prompting her to cancel the card thinking it was fraud. Upon check out there was additional charge that no one could explain to us. After asking for clarification I was just given the receipt again with no explanation.

Clean but not worth the expense compared to others

We decided to splurge on a stay at The Viv in Anaheim for Valentine’s weekend unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. Prior to our stay, we attempted to make a reservation at one of the hotel’s restaurants. When I called to get some information about the dining options, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and unwilling to provide details on the type of food offered. Instead of answering a simple question, she insisted on transferring me to the restaurant, which I was never able to reach. Upon arrival, we opted for valet parking, but there was no valet in sight. Additionally, the hotel advertises bell service, yet no Bellman was available. We ended up carrying our own luggage, which isn’t a problem—but don’t offer a service if you’re not going to staff it properly. Once we finally got a valet, he was pleasant and professional, but the delay was frustrating. To top it off, the person at the front desk was not pleasant at all. A warm welcome sets the tone for a stay, and unfortunately, that was missing here. Instead of feeling valued as guests, we felt like an inconvenience. On a positive note, the room was extremely clean, which we appreciated. Also, the bar on the bottom floor was great—good drinks and a nice atmosphere. However, overall, the hotel experience just didn’t match the price. For the amount of money we spent on the room, it simply fell short. Hopefully, management makes improvements, but we likely woul

I tried this hotel for the first time with my family for a Disney vacation. I really enjoyed and appreciated the modern decor and vibe of the hotel. From chill electronica playing overhead to the cool art and architectural features to the Disney touches. The view overlooks both Disney parks and you get a private view of the nightly fireworks. The rooftop access is quite nice with an excellent view. Areas of improvement: a bell hop checked us in and didn’t really know how to use the system, the Valencia restaurant served under seasoned penne pasta and a burger with zero condiments at a luxury price point, and housekeeping was not very thorough and left one bed unmade and didn’t replace some toiletries. This place has a lot of potential but didn’t execute at a high level. Overall, we really liked our stay and may return in the future.
