I don’t think you will find a cleaner hotel than the Candlewood! Every corner of the room and hotel was spotless.
The staff at Candlewood is outstanding! They are always quick to greet you and ask if there’s anything they can help with. Anytime I asked for extra towels or kitchen utensils…I got them right away. The dishwasher in our room wasn’t working and when I called to let them know, they sent someone up to look at it right away. They weren’t able to fix it so we just washed our dishes by hand for our stay there…not a big deal. The girl at the front desk sent housekeeping up to collect our dirty dishes the next morning which was very thoughtful of them. The staff did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable.
The only reason I didn’t give Candlewood 5 stars is because of the pool. It’s very small and is only 3 feet deep. It’s a nice amenity to have for a quick dip to cool down and relax after a long day but my daughter is 10 now and has outgrown the pool. I think after 3 consecutive years of staying at the Candlewood, it’s time to try something new.
That being said, I will highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a hotel with a kitchenette.
