Sheraton San Jose Hotel, Costa Rica
"Do not spend a single dollar at this hotel. It is a 2 star hotel pretending that it's a 4.5 star. Restaurant service and front desk were the worse I have every dealt with in my travels across the world. Everything is the problem of the guest and they won't any accept any responsibility for their ..."

Hotel Presidente
"The front desk agent seemed more irritated than welcoming. The room was like a DIY version instead of quality expected in the photos. There was barely any hot water in the shower and when we did there was barely water pressure. There was no real balcony, just a door with 1ft ledge step. We paid for ..."

"Hotel was well maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful. There is a nice food court a few meters away. The included breakfast buffet was really good and the staff was great, especially Carlos, who went above and beyond. Underground parking was easy and included. Plenty of EV chargers if you need ..."

"The place is clean. The highway outside is loud and the windows are barely there. It sounds like the trucks using their engine braking are in the room with you and it’s busy all day and night. The place is really dated. AC is like a 1980’s car. Set it to a temperature and you have to put the fan ..."

Hampton by Hilton San Jose Airport
"Perfect location to the airport and car rental. Convenient free shuttle to and from airport. Breakfast included was good for a free hotel breakfast. Menu changed daily and food was not bad. Honestly, all the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Everyone working there went above and beyond to give great service with a smile, parking and shuttle staff, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone I interacted with was great. All staff spoke English so it was easy to communicate for travelers not bilingual. I stayed twice during my visit, once at the beginning of my 3 week vacation and again at the end of my vacation totaling 4 nights there total so I spent a bit of time there. Room was clean both times and I have no issues to complain about. Drive time in CR is unpredictable so being able to stay close by the airport gave me comfort knowing I wasn’t worried about missing my flight out or having to fly in and arrive late at night and drive somewhere right away. Rates were reasonable especially with complementary breakfast. There is a laundry room where I washed all my clothes after a hike to Poas in the rain so I didn’t have to pack wet clothes. There is a pool but I never got the chance to use it. One evening I went out and it seemed clean but it was too cold outside to use the pool. I was going to try again another time at the end of my vacation but it was pouring rain that time so no pool again. On my next visit to CR I would absolutely use this hotel again."
