Located in Cliffview Resort, with ponds, hiking trails, zipline and restaurant. This authentic one-story log cabin is pristine! Features lots of hand made furniture by the owners who enjoy woodworking and are proud to share this awesome cabin. City Slicker Hideaway would make a great home base for your next vacation!
Features a large great room design with gas log fireplace, awesome screened-in porch, satellite TV, DVD player with DVD collection to choose from, washer/dryer, and central heat/air. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Private Master bedroom suite has french doors opening into the living area, two walls of windows overlooking the woods from the queen bed, and private a full bath with tub shower combo. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and bedroom 3 has a queen. Both share a full bath with tub/shower. Board games and a fooseball table are provided for enjoyment. The L-shaped deck surrounds the cabin with picnic table, charcoal grill and 5-person hot tub. There is a fire pit with plenty of seating and short trail down to a clean, clear fishing pond. This is a fantastic get away for those who seek to escape the congestion and of the city and take advantage of the peaceful serenity the forest provides in a prime location to enjoy all Red River Gorge has to offer..

Everything was great! The kids enjoyed the selection of games and books to read. The only downside was there wasn’t Wi-Fi at the house but it didn’t put a damper in our stay.

Our stay at the cabin was excellent. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with a wide variety of fun games. The location was stunning, offering beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions. It’s clear that Scenic Cabins takes exceptional care of their properties—the check-in process was seamless, with clear directions and the key provided in advance. Everything was exactly as described, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect Weekend
The trip was definitely too short! I plan on returning and will hopefully be there a little longer next time. This location has so much to offer, and I plan on taking full advantage of it next time.

Nice cabin, gross hot tub
We loved the cabin, however once we got home we realized we picked up a bacterial infection from the hot tub requiring doctors appointments, cultures, antibiotics, and missed school. Be cautious using the hot tub as it is not properly cared for.
