We booked the Junior Suite based on what was represented by the hotel in the photos showing that room. We booked this room for the last 3 days of our vacation because this room showed a bright, clean room w/ beamed, vaulted ceilings & offered an ocean view. We also specifically requested 3 months in advance, not to be on the first floor. When we arrived, the room we got was a dark, first floor room w/ flat ceilings, pool view, not ocean view & it looked like an old Holiday Inn. We were not pleased, requested what we had booked based on the photos represented in the website & was told this is what you get because it is a timeshare hotel & they can put us in whatever room they want when we arrive.

Customer service was very poor. We were approached on 3 different occasions go our way to our room and ask if we stay at the hotel and notice people of other races wasn’t being asked. They made us so uncomfortable we only use the beach once, we never use the or went back on the beach for the 5 days. The view I paid for was not what I got. Loud noise constantly coming from the construction and the ice machine next to our hotel. Hotel room is outdated! It was not worth the price! I will not recommend this place. I will do a better research next time!

The room itself it’s ok, specially if you plan to rent a car and venture around. The restaurant doesn’t have its own restaurant (no room service) but there is one right next to it and many options in Mambo beach. For the price we paid we wouldn’t stay here again but if you find a deal it could be worth it. Bed was very comfortable and the little beach on property is very nice for kids.
