We loved staying here! The cabin was perfect with so much to do and see while hanging inside. The porch was perfect for relaxing and the pond area was so nice as well. We loved it for our short trip but we definitely hope to be back for longer so we can enjoy the area more!

Perfect mountain retreat

Everything about this cabin was better than we expected. Clean, spacious and comfortable this is a great rental. We will stay here again. Close to everything and easy access but very quiet/private.

Beautiful home in a peaceful location

We had a wonderful stay! The dogs were crazy for the fenced in area and it made such a difference in our trip knowing they were secure. Thanks for the great communication and for sharing your beautiful home.

Relaxing & quiet

The house and property are exactly as described. Check-in and out was very easy. We really loved relaxing on the huge deck and enjoying the quiet surroundings.

Just What Our Family Needed!

Everything about our visit was perfect!! The house was beautiful, clean & private. Our children loved the downstairs area with the pool table and our pup loved exploring the property. Jean was a sweetheart & a dream to work with. We hope to come back again soon!

The property is located perfectly in the mountains where you can enjoy stargazing at night without city lights. The house is spacious for family gatherings and the beds are very comfortable. Our host Jean is great communicating details and answering any questions one may have. Lots of board games and well stick fire pit. Our family had a great time!

This property exceeded our expectations! House was clean and comfortable. Host had great communication. Dog run was extremely convenient. Beautiful view. Very peaceful and secluded - exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend!

Paradise!

We loved our stay at Heaven on Earth! Love the set-up of the house, allowing for three couples to have their own space with private bathrooms. The deck/covered porch with gates and also the fenced in outside area for dogs made it so convenient and safe to have dogs with you! Very private and peaceful location! We loved everything about our vacation!

Perfect Getaway

This home was perfect for our NYE getaway! We had wonderful communication with our host who ensured even our 4 legged friend was well looked after. The hiking paths and pond were a hit with the kids. Us adults enjoyed the seclusion, peace and quiet. The home was very clean with lots of games and puzzles to keep the kids busy. Wonderful vacation!

A five star experience

Mrs Jean has a lovely home! There is a great deck to take in the beautiful scenery. The home is large and can accommodate many people. Has everything you might need. Jean is also very accessible if needed. The place is out in the woods and very peaceful. Definitely a five star experience.

Little Piece of Paradise

Cozy home set back on a beautiful piece of property. Layout of home was perfect for my family from the inside to the outside for our fur babies. Very clean and had everything we needed and then some. Not a far drive from attractions yet secluded enough for peace and tranquility when enjoying our coffee on the front porch. Owner was great to communicate with and very informative. Great getaway for our family. Definitely will stay there again when visiting Boone.

Relaxing and Beautiful Property

Huge house and property, very private and very dog friendly. Lovely safe environment for the pets very comfortable place for a big group my elderly parents, myself and my adult granddaughter and our two dogs enjoyed four nights here we loved the humongous deck and the views and the fire pit. Our hostess Jean Could not have been more accommodating Or responsive! The house and grounds are stocked with everything you could possibly want or need And we had a wonderful time together!

2 time staying

Jean is a wonderful host. House is great for 2 families. The two separate living spaces works great for multiple families. Having a fenced area for our dogs means the world to us and makes traveling with them so much easier. Jean is always a phone call away. Can not say enough good things about this house.

Beautiful property! Very Well appointed; everything we needed for our stay!

We were here for a two night stay and very impressed with the property and the layout was very convenient for the all adult family. We were there for my daughter‘s wedding so regretfully did not get to explore the grounds but they look beautiful -complete with hiking trails and paths to walk! The area seemed to have some cute antique shops. Very off the beaten path but close enough to modern conveniences as well. Would love to go back sometime when we can just sit and enjoy the sounds of nature and the beautiful views off the balcony! Thanks so much!

Perfect Getaway

The house was the perfect space for a getaway with four adults and three children. The kids loved having their own space downstairs, with both a bedroom and a second living space and ping pong! Jean (owner) was one of the most helpful and engaged VRBO owners we’ve ever worked with. She was incredibly responsive and never made us feel like we were being a nuisance, no matter what our question. The cabin is nicely secluded but still an easy 30 minute drive to Boone. Great trip!

"Heaven on Earth" hide-a-way!

Once you get to this amazing property you might not want to leave! The place is equipted with everything from wi-fi to Alexis radio to a Weber grill on the peaceful deck where you could watch the playful hummingbirds! You could walk easily down the hill to the pond and sit on an Adirondack chair and walk on one of the trails. We loved playing pool and ping pong downstairs with the electric fireplace going. Beautiful furniture & excessories all over. We loved it all!! :-)

Cute house remotely located in the mountains.

The house is cute with lots of pretty artwork painted by the owner. It was a comfortable layout for the six of us (4 adults and 2 boys) and our 2 service dogs. Backyard is fenced in which was nice to let the dogs out. We went up for my grandsons birthday to snowboard and ski Beech Mountain. The drive from the house to Beech Ski resort was a little longer ride than expected but that’s because of all the winding mountain roads and where the house is located. Looked like it would be fun in the summer to sit by the pond and walk the property and trails on it. Owners were very nice.

Perfect for a large family

We (6 adults and 3 kids ages 9-11 and 2 dogs) spent Christmas at this beautiful home. The house is set up perfect for multiple families. We had plenty of room and the downstairs game room/bedroom was the favorite spot for the kids. The spacious fenced in dog run was perfect for our two large dogs. In fact they never wanted to come inside! We were pleasantly surprised that the house had EVERYTHING we needed. We all brought extra blankets and pillows etc but nothing was needed. Even the pantry had all the little necessities. Would highly recommend for your next vacation!!

Perfect mountain house

I cannot say enough about this experience. This was our first VRBO experience and it was so positive. The house was better than I imagined, the pictures don't do it justice. Jean has that house stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need during your stay. It was such a beautiful property and we created such amazing memories. There isn't one thing I can think of that I would change. The directions to get to the house and into the house were so easy to follow. Jean was incredible responsive and couldn't be more pleasant. The instructions for checking out were clear and reasonable. It is such an easy drive to Boone and Sugar Mountain. I cannot wait to come back to this house in each season to see how beautiful it is in different ways.

Very nice get away

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving staying here. Jean was an amazing host, very prompt and available. House was very clean and well furnished. There was plenty of space for our large family. The house is very remote but still not far from all of the attractions in the area. Loved the fire pit, pond, and hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!! Could use some brighter lights upstairs but overall wonderful and will be staying again in the future.
