Heres' hoping the employer's refund some my hotel fee. After a great night at a concert, climb into bed to a quilt in between the cover and sheets....stinking. Omg! It was midnight and I was tired. So my husband flipped the bedding ro the bottom. I'll never book a single king, such a small room. Could have gotten back to the airport and stayed at the fairmont airport for not much more $. Expected hallway noise wiyh it being an ACDC concert, didn't disappoint there. Noise most of the night. Too bad for this experience.

From the time we arrived and had to park in an underground parking lot that was so incredibly tight to drive in, construction in the parkage blocking turning area's. A Red light system that was useless. From there we went up to to our minumal room, which rightly so, was expecting, however, the bathrooom tub was filling with water from a non stop drip, the shelving unit was missing 3 out of the 4 finishing hardware, the overhead light had no cover and the spot to hang up clothes was placed overtop of the one sitting chair. The room was very grubby and it was quite loud with grinding and drilling with so called renovations happening. If our room was a renovated room, they really need to spend a little extra money. That being said, the bed was comfortable and we slept well.

I like the location. Close to Robson, Yaletown. Gastown, Coal Harbour. All walking distance. What I didnt like was some aspects of the room. The HVAC was an older floor model, buttons worn. Hard to tell what mode it was set to. And the remote control. No numbers button to press. Had to go back to guide and scroll up-down. Trivial matter but an inconvenient.

Cost of stay was higher than I had booked it for. They also charged a $300 incidentals fee that was not told to me. The elevators were dirty and very small. The sink in our bathroom clogged up and had to be fixed. Also the bathroom door didn’t shut tightly, which was a problem because I was with my adult son and we needed the privacy. It is definitely not worth the price. The only one good thing was that Uber prices were cheaper if you were going somewhere in the city, but high when leaving the city.
