This was a fun and unique experience. Our one night was plenty though. It’s cheaper to buy your firewood before arriving. It was convenient to buy it onsite but you don’t get much for $10. I wish the outdoor lighting had not been so bright around the yurt and from the neighbors nearby.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. My family and I really enjoyed a relaxing stay with shops and stores nearby. Great communication by the host Erin, she made sure we were well informed before and during our stay. The stars look beautiful from this location. The Yurtz are very rommy.

SKIP THE AUTOCAMP and head here instead — this place is the perfect blend of nature and glamping. The yurts are some of the coolest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in, and they’re 100% authentic yurts from Mongolia. Each yurt is spaced out nicely, giving you plenty of privacy and room to relax. Plus, it’s conveniently located just a short 7–10 minute drive from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. My wife, our two daughters, and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday for three nights, and we had an absolute blast. The owner and host, Erin, is genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve ever met — incredibly attentive, warm, and thoughtful. She took care of anything we needed (which wasn’t much, because this place is so well-set-up). And for anyone who isn’t quite ready to fully unplug — yes, there’s WiFi, too. Thank you again, Erin. You and your yurts were amazing.

Erin was a very gracious and responsive host. Thought through all the needs for our 'glamping' experience. Highly recommend for anyone who likes the idea of camping but is not willing to go all in yet.

Such a fun experience! Yurt was, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit, grill, looking at the stars, the view of the night sky from the yurt and the beautiful sunrise. Highly recommend.

Our stay in the Joshua Tree desert yurt was absolutely unforgettable. My husband, son, and I were welcomed by Erin, who was an incredible host—warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The yurt itself was thoughtfully equipped, giving us the perfect balance of comfort and the rustic charm of camping. At night, the sky lit up with more stars than I’ve ever seen in my life—it was truly magical. If you’ve never stayed in a yurt before, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s the kind of adventure everyone should do at least once, and Joshua Tree is the perfect place to do it.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay. It was only one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer. Beds and sheets were comfortable. The shower at night felt amazing. The night sky and moonrise incredible.
