Red Lion Inn & Suites Tucson Downtown
"Breakfast was okay: typical foods offered were: Scrambled eggs, pork sausages, cereal, yogurt, toast and bagels with cream cheese, and cranberry/orange juice. Arrived in late october and couldn't use the swimming pool. If looking for meals, there's a Carl's Jrs next door for burger options and a limited breakfast selection to choose from, or a short bus ride to a nearby grocery store, and a bike path and floodway near that looks neat during heavy rain. Good access to Bus and Tram lines, with a short ride to downtown Tucson, but Google maps need to get a 2026/7 update: there is no convenience store within a decent walk from the hotel. If you don't have a car, like I didn't, I suggest stocking up ahead of time, and use the in room cooler for any meals you have. hade some bad luck with heavy rain leaking through my window, but the staff were quick to transfer me to a drier room when I brought it to their attention. If you're gonna do laundry, be sure to either have $6 in quarters, or ask the front desk staff to convert your cash. No water fountain nearby, but there's an ice dispenser and vending machine you can use in the lobby. Wi-fi, bathroom, bed, TV and remote, and cooler,(if you're sensitive to random refrigerator noises, I recommend using earplugs). Located near a busy highway, Would consider using again."
