The staff was really nice and helpful. The view was also very pretty. The room was clean but a little outdated. The shutters were nice but were loud when opening them. The window only opened a little bit, so air flow was minimal & the room gets stuffy if using the heater. And while the view was nice, there was also two porta potties in immediate eye sight. The beds were comfortable but came with two pancake pillows, so we had two request additional ones. The TV and phone did not work when we arrived. TV would sit on start up V screen and phone was stuck on hold. TV issue was resolved, kinda, had to unplug the TV from the power strip, plug it back in and then turn it on with the remote for it to work. Phone did not get fixed. The pool and spa were nice but the property hasn’t been kept up. The concrete was chipping around the pool and the spa had a stain. The jacuzzi was also small in comparison and was hard to enjoy. It was full with a group of people when we showed up at 730pm (it closes at 8) and didn’t feel comfortable squeezing in with people we don’t know during a pandemic. Restaurant closed at 6, but that wasn’t posted anywhere. The hours weren’t online or onsite and no one informed us when we arrived. We found out by showing up and asking for a table & being told they closed at 6. Overall we didn’t get the resort feel that we wanted/expected for our staycation. I don’t think we will be staying here again & don’t think it was worth the price we paid.

It was old school western rustic, was quiet at nights but in Tucson Airport flight path during day. Also we were surprised to learn after day 1 and not before that the properties are not hotel suites but considered time shares. So YOYO for daily housekeeping! Needed more towels. Pool area is very adequate and with shade in back. Golf is great and the golf service and course very nicely groomed and appointed. Overall our flight package, this “hotel deal” and car rental through travelocity was a great value.

Did not receive room request

Though I've stayed at this property many times, this was the first time we did not get the king bed room we had requested. The motel clerk "claimed" she never received the request from Travelocity. We had a question in regards to parking our vehicle and she said she would let us know immediately, waited over a hour and finally had to call her. She forgot to call us back. Very unprofessional young adult......property is beautiful, its close to where family members live, hence why we like to stay here. Besides the front desk clerk we had a great time.

Great Location

Pros: The best feature of the hotel is the location.
Cons: The nights were very cold when we were there and the heater was very noisy.
Location: Golf is on the premises and the courses are lovely. We spent one morning at the Arizona Dessert Museum and another afternoon driving to Tombstone.
The hotel is very well located, about 20 minutes fro the airport and less to downtown. The golf courses, 3 9-hole courses were beautiful and very well maintained. The cactus' are amazing. I do have two complaints, the service in the restaurant was the slowest I have ever experienced, this was the same for the bar. We had dinner the night we arrived and waited about an hour for our food. The next day I went to the bar for a beer in the afternoon, and had to stand there for about 15 minutes. I picked the Star Pass resort for the golf and the pool where I could actually swim laps, unfortunately that didn't happen because the heater was out and the water was very cold. Even with my complaints, I would recommend the hotel, just not the dining.

Good Southwestern charm, spacious suites

Pros: Southwestern character, spacious rooms, nicely appointed kitchen, plenty of parking spaces.
Cons: Would be nice to have wi-fi in the rooms. The one we were in could use some updating but we liked the charm.
Location: Good location for golfing. Beautiful scenery. A bit of a trek to get to shopping and decent restaurants.
Businesslike front desk staff. Nice that they have a golf-cart type shuttle to take you to your room if you wish, but we found the short walk to be pleasant. The suite was spacious and well appointed, although a bit dated. We really liked the layout of the rooms, and there was no noise from the (occupied) adjacent rooms. This is just the type of place we were looking for.
