Best Vacation

My wife and I really enjoyed this little unit. The property was clean the pool was great the location was everything we expected and we could just walk out to the beach. We will certainly look at this property for future visits.

Perfect place to stay for a get away!

The studio like room was perfect. Very clean, and decorated very nice. Kitchen had everything you needed for a 5 night stay. We for sure will be back!!

Quaint, clean and perfect!

This was one of the best “motel” style places we have ever stayed! Allison answered every question we had and was so friendly and accommodating. Susan keeps the entire complex sparkling and she’s so friendly! We will definitely be back!

Great location. Only complaint is the heavy musty/moldy/mildew smell/presence - made me ill with congestion/headaches/coughing. Understand this is an old building but these issues need to be mitigated.

Cutest place ever!

The room was adorable! Very nicely decorated! Small (as a studio should be) but plenty of storage for your clothes etc. The only negative was the bathroom is cramped(1 person at a time). It’s a bit of a hike to the beach but you’re as close as you can be on Treasure Island. The boardwalk is right there and you can walk it to many bars and restaurants. Make sure you bring your own beach towels and beach chairs. We were there 8 nights and thought it was a cool little hotel!

Beautiful property

The place was beautiful and very clean. The grounds were exceptional and everything convenient and close nearby. Only complaint is too much to go through with the agency that rents the place. I received way too many emails and things to do before I could even check in. Also vrbo said check in was at 3 but they wouldn’t let us check in until 4. And the 10am check out time is way too early.

Great location

Unit was clean but a bit smaller than expected! Location was perfect! However the lack of communication with Belloise realty was extremely slow. We were missing some items from our room that we were told would be there. The day we arrived. I emailed the two emails provided to me by Belloise when I didn’t get a response the next day I sent a text to the number they provided along with called the number they provided to which there wasn’t even an answering machine on the third day of our day I called again, and finally got somebody I spoke with is kind of rude and told me maybe I just didn’t see the missing items that I should look further what we were missing was shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer to which I planned on using every morning. we were told not all units come with a hairdryer, even though it was on the sheet that she sent us stating all the items in the unit on the second to last day of our day They deliver to our room. Not a huge deal and did not ruin our trip. However, I was quite taken by the slowness and the rudeness of the people we dealt with there. Had this been a bigger deal such as my AC not working on my fridge not working. I would’ve really been put out having to wait for their response Because of the lack of customer service we will not be returning to a property run by Belloise realty!

Everything was great very walkable to restaurants. Very friendly people and quiet and relaxed. The only issue we had was seeing someone coming out of our room and had to confront them as to who they were. She then stated she was changing out batteries, would like to be notified before hand that someone was going in our room.

Wow, the unit has been tastefully remodeled. It has the feel of an upscale hotel & makes the most of the small space. The kitchen had all new appliances & the rainfall shower was fantastic! Everything you need for a quick beach getaway was there including beach chairs. The best part is, Tropic Terrace is directly on the beach, so you are in the sand in seconds!! The new pool was great & the best part - it's heated. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful unit!

Completely remodeled, gorgeous unit! Everything is brand new, and everything is provided to enjoy your stay at the beach, including all dining and kitchen equipment. Perfect for a single or a couple. You are steps from the strand as well as the beach, and it's a short walk to many restaurants and bars in downtown Treasure Island. There is a trolley shuttle stop out front that makes it an easy trip to John's Pass or St. Pete beach without having to take your car. The building also has a sparkling new pool and lobby. I would definitely stay in this unit again!

Probably a one time stay

I have to say that we were shocked when we opened the door to Tropic Terrace Unit #9 upon arrival late in the evening. We arrived with family members who had reserved #10 and invited us to join them on their visit to Treasure Island. While I won't speak for them, we seemed to both be shocked at the size and the odor of our rooms. I expected that the photos would be flattering but the room was not nearly as large as the pictures indicated. The bathroom hardly allowed room to turn around, the tub was rusted, and there was very little water pressure/volume in the bathroom or the kitchenette sink however the bath tub/shower did have good volume and pressure. Perhaps the biggest design flaw was the barn door installed for privacy in the bathroom that could not open far enough to leave more than an estimated twenty inch opening. I am 5'8” ,210 lb. with a 38” waist (which I think is pretty average) and I had to enter the bathroom sideways to avoid touching the door which would bang against the wall. The weather was cool the first two days of our stay. On the third, I finally found a heat button (not indicated on the remote control but on a control button under a cover on the air conditioner) but it would not produce heat. Another visitor told us she turned the oven on for heat. I will say that the room was pretty clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and we actually had more usable space than unit #10 which didn't even have a chair in the room. As for the odor, an air freshener helped but the odor lingered. We had a good time with family and no rain so we were able to spend our daytime hours outside and evenings in the community room. I don't want to be harsh but Unit #9 needs an update and a solution to the bathroom, door, tub/shower and water situation. If I visit Treasure Island again, I am confident that the Tropic Terrace #9 or #10 would not be under consideration.
