"The house was wonderful! Everything was absolutely as advertised, clean and well stocked with dishes/pots/pans. We came for a wedding and had the house full; every bed was used and members of the wedding party and out-of-town guests stopped by for meals with the family. It was entertaining to watch morning skiers on the lake while sitting by the pool with coffee. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Jan and Arden were great with communication, always answering any question we had and available if needed. It's a lovely neighborhood with a beautiful, tranquil view. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it for a great get-away!"

"I have never left a negative review, but this stay was truly awful from start to finish. I did not realize before booking that this property was actually part of a duplex, and the experience reflected that. You’re required to park in the grass and walk through wet, unlit grass around the back of the property to enter — an unpleasant and unsafe setup, especially after dark. Once inside, the walls were extremely thin, and I could clearly hear the “long-term” tenants in the adjoining unit arguing late into the night.The issues didn’t stop there. The pool was green and completely unusable, and the entire property reeked of a strong sulfur odor, making it uncomfortable, especially in the bathroom. Worst of all, there was a flea infestation — my daughter ended up with 19 flea bites within 48 hours. The owners responded quickly to my messages, but the problems were not resolved. Despite multiple communications, no refund has been issued. Because the conditions were unlivable, we cut our trip short and stayed at a Best Western, which was cleaner, more comfortable, and actually allowed us to relax — something that says a lot about the state of this rental.This was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly recommend avoiding this property until all of these issues are addressed and verified by VRBO."
