Nice property but poor cleaning service

On check in day I was notified around noon that my original selection was double booked and I had to be relocated to another cabin. When we arrived, the entry code did not work so we had to call vacasa. We were given a new code that still didn’t work and ended up just getting a key from the property there. All that to say the check in experience was not good. The property was very nice and as advertised but wasn’t cleaned well. There were several dirty plates underneath clean ones with food still on them so I assume all the dishes aren’t checked. We were also left with one hand towel for the bathroom. When we opened the folding table, it too had food on it and had to be wiped down.

Great location, magnificent cabin!

Great property. Great location. Very clean. Modern appliances and amenities, but still a cabin in a secluded location. Only 5 miles from Helen and 22 miles from Hiawassee. Will book again asap.

Best cabin!

Clean cabin, hot tub clean and ready, pool table has plenty of room for play, spacious home with comfy bed and pillows! Cant wait to come back and recommend to friends! Dog friendly and close to downtown- excellent!

Quite Mountain Private Cabin

Truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin as the hot tub is on the back of the house surrounded by woods so you have your privacy along with a large kitchen to enjoy. Also, love the open floor plan and the shower is amazing. Only thing that was a downside was there are other cabins near by and you could hear them if outside with music or having conversation.

Peaceful and relaxing !!!

Has an excellent stay in this house! Me, my partner, & a dog. When planning a trip to Helen,I looked at places in walking distance, then the idea of a hot tub kept running through my mind, so i explored that and fell into vrbo.com This property was available and had excellent reviews. The photos dont do it justice,it is REALLY cozy, spacious, quiet, & peaceful. Met the owner :-) and he was so nice ;-) Anyway. PROS: the hot tub, good for my bum knee and torn muscles in my elbow; Loved the king size bed; loved the leather couches and spacious kitchen; HAPPY for the coffee machine (KEURIG), Loved the HUGE shower with double showerheads; Did not use the jet tub; Loved the toilet with its own door; Didn't have a chance to enjoy the firepit outside or the pool table inside, but looking at our calendar for our next visit. YES i would book this again. CONS: i'm 5 foot 3 inches and the sink in the bathroom is MUCH too high. If the owner has any available time in the slow season, i would suggest lowering one of the sinks about 4 inches down. There appears to be the space to do so. While brushing my teeth, everything went down my chin because i'm not tall enough to bend over the sink!!. ALSO: love the huge sink but the mirror is too far away. The "close up" vanity mirror in the cabinet is nice but it seems people have been yanking it down, it doesn't move downward only outward, and the problem here is the trash can bolted to the cabinet, it keeps you from getting any closer ;-(

Great cabin ruined by management!

Beautiful cabin with great views. Too bad the customer service was sub par! We asked for an early check in; that didn’t happen. Greeted by the housekeeper, “ what do you want?!?” Walked into the cabin with 80’s metal blaring on all tv’s! Vacasa’s operators did not care about the early check in issue. The grill’s burners were rusted and not operational. The washer requires liquid detergent, but only pods were available. The hot tub was very clean and well kept! We would’ve enjoyed the cabin if Vacasa didn’t ruin it! Checking in early should not be a big deal as the check out time is 10 am. This plus your rude employees will prevent me from ever renting here again

Nice cabin

Cabin was as described. Hot tub was amazing. Only enjoyed one local restaurant down in Helena, Ga . Only complaint was housekeeper banging on the door and addressing us as if we did something wrong with the words of are yall paying for another night because yall are suppoae to be checked out it was how she said it . When infact she had tbe wring information on our check out

My family & i enjoyed the property .. very clean very spacious inside . the hot tub was amazing loved that it had a fan above it in case you got too hot . driveway was nice . only thing i’d say is the tub is amazing however the water didn’t get very hot .. so didn’t really get to enjoy it . but overall an amazing cabin ! would definitely recommend ..
