Good for a writer's retreat.

A quiet, clean and peaceful place, with a helpful staff. I came to do some writing and enjoy the beach a bit. Very well-suited for a personal retreat: could happily stay longer. There's a charming bookstore attached to the property, run by the partner of the owner.

For those who want to stay in a neighborhood and this was perfect for us. Beautiful pool and rooms. Limited but super friendly staff. We loved the easy walk to the bakery, smoothie bar and true Mexican beer garden. Wonderful to get home from all the bustle to this quiet retreat. Make sure to book poolside.

The rooms are spacious, cozy and cute, they have everything you need. I loved making breakfast in the kitchen and having my morning coffee in the terrace while looking at the beautiful vegetation and views. The location is very comfortable, everything is just a few steps away making it super easy to eat, drink, party and recover at the beach or go surfing in the morning. Casa Marisa has an excellent location very close to the main street of La Punta where are several restaurants, dining options and bars though the street where it is located is very quiet and tranquil. The building is completely new therefore everything is fresh, all accessories are new to use and has rooms with AC, very fresh and comfortable bed. Big terrace for our room and an amazing pool with sunbeds we could use anytime. Concierge service 24 hrs that can handle any issues or even give extra pillows and towels. Very happy for my stay I would definitely return!

Loved this place. Huge room, amazing terrace and away from the noise. The staff were also wonderful and there is a filtered water machine available which was appreciated. The downside of it being away from the noise is that you have to walk up a dirt track off the main road which I found a little intimidating at night as a solo female. Not to say it's a dodgy area, I think that's how most women feel walking in a non-lit isolated road! But it's only 5 or so minutes off the main road and I think worth it.

Excelente propiedad. La alberca espectacular. Nos recibieron con excelente amabilidad. Lo único que tengo que decir es que la parte de housekeeping estuvo poco satisfactoria. No hubo cambio diario de toallas. Las camas se hicieron pero con las mismas sábanas todavía con la arena de mar del día anterior. La mini cocina se limpió a medias. Vasos con tazas usadas algunas se lavaron algunas no. El agua de botella nunca se rellenó, lo hicimos nosotros todos los días.
