What they do well, they do really well. Staff was incredible across the board. Commodore suite was beautiful. The overall grounds are very well maintained. Only complaint i have is that the butler service was advertised as 24/7 but were only there part of the day, were hard to get ahold of, and changed daily. Other guests that we attended a tour with seemed to get much better service so perhaps we just got a dud, but it was disappointing. Overall a terrific stay though.

This is absolutely an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. The only surprise was the outstanding resort fees that were never mentioned upon check-in and the tariff charges upon checkout. This is not something I have experienced at other hotels in the area.

For the expensive to stay it was not worth it. Beach access was far out, no place to rinse off after the beach, pools were small and placed on a second floor, no balcony in room, very small room , no long mirror to see how you were dressed to go out to the town, no ice machine on any floor, no complimentary breakfast but coffee at least muffins etc for what the price was to stay, staff was ok , no evening entertainment in the evening at the hotel all in all I will rate it a 3 for the name behind it and expensive just not worth the hype. I’ve stayed in better places on the island. Will return to Puerto Rico but not stay here

Staff was fantastic and the service was great. We also had a very comfortable stay. The only negatives were that the AC in our room did not work very well (It kept turning off in the middle of the night) and there was a wedding reception on the 2nd floor that was so loud that we could hear the music all night long on the 5th floor. There were 4 weddings while we were there, I think the DJ for that one just had the music way too loud, because we were not bothered on other nights. The property is beautiful and the restaurants are great. The gym is also very nice and the spa is top notch. We will stay here again.

Located in a tourist part of San Juan, close to delicious food and entertainment bars. 10 minutes from La Placita and Viejo Old San Juan. Hotel was very luxurious, and everyone who we encountered (like everyone on the island) was extremely friendly. Food was a little pricey, but that is to expect for a high end hotel. Rooms were good temperature and clean! Room service went above and beyond! Highly recommend staying here! Has pools, hot tub, spa, dining options and a beautiful view. I appreciated the private beach area for guests and the adults only area with pool and hot tub. Be aware: While it is beautiful and luxurious, at the end of your stay, you will be charged a hotel tariff (charged daily). We were not informed of this when we checked in, which I think the concierge should have been more honest about.

The hotel, staff, and location were fantastic. The food, service, and proximity to everywhere was spectacular. Our view of the ocean from our room was breath taking. The hotel smelled so good and the staff were hospitable, welcoming, and super positive. We will definitely go back to this hotel in the future :)

Condado Vanderbilt is truly a 5 star LUXURY hotel. The service was amazing. They make you feel like you are the only guests at the hotel. The amenities (especially the spa) was dreamy and food/drinks were delicious! We can not wait for our next trip to this special place in paradise

We had a great stay at the CV in Puerto Rico. The room was great--clean and had all the necessities. We were always welcomed at the front door with a hearty hello. The front desk was super helpful. The gym was perfect for a quick morning work out. The location is perfect if you want to walk to beach or for local snorkeling or to catch a glimpse of the friendly manatees in Condado Bay. OLA was delicious. Relaxing out in front of Tacos & Tequila was a great way to spend part of the day. We LOVED our stay and hope to come back for a visit.
Let the vacation begin with sips and scenery you cannot beat.
