DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore
"Property is very large and pretty well appointed. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, though it could use better lighting. The few employees that we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The hotel pool and hot tub were pretty large and kept at a great temperature, though there were not nearly enough chairs and tables in the area so there was nowhere to put your stuff while you swam. The biggest negative was that the hotel now has a daily parking charge which was a surprise. Rubbed me the wrong way because it seems like a money grab for a suburban hotel with ample parking. Especially since it hosts a lot of events. I would not expect my attendees to pay for parking at a place like this. Additionally, the Starbucks was only open in the morning and the restaurant only open in the evening, so there were no food/drink options during the day. Lastly, the attached water park is only open Fri-Sun which was also disappointing in the summer. Overall, nice facility which is kind of operating at a bare bones level."
