Riverfront cabin

No problem with the cabin but the area is very rough/torn up because of last year’s fires.We will return, the whole area is being cleaned up, we understand the situation.

Decent but dirty

The check in process was super easy. The location was pretty good. Unfortunately during our stay there was construction going on all around. For the price the amenities were decent. The floors, counters, tables and all surfaces were filthy, not just dusty, filthy.

Perfect for our needs on this trip

This was our pups first road trip. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The layout of the cabin was a little different but not an issue. Whoever manages this cabin was very attentive.

Too hot!

There are way more positives than negatives. We’re 61 and 70. This cabin had fans, but they didn’t circulate any air, and the only air conditioning was a window unit in the kitchen that was absolutely worthless cooling any other part of the cabin. I really mean to say it’s location was fabulous. Unit was spotless, and check in and check out was seamless. However, we had to leave early. Couldn’t stand another night without air conditioning. I don’t think it’s the owners fault. Temperatures are hideous around the country right now, but a fan being provided for sleeping would be handy for future guests this summer. Just a thought.

Nice but needs to improve

We stayed here many times, this time though the front chair was full of long dog hairs and a rodent was in the kitchen draw. Left behind dropping and eating ketchup packets. Also can use an outdoor back porch light. Coming in late and trying to grill can be a hassle.

Great location

Please get a new microwave omg I could not get things hot enough or boiling over. They are cheap now a days splurge. As for TV be prepared to not watch too complicated too many apps just simple. Over all again great location just not able to heat up easily without it being too cold or boiled over. Sharp Carousel pl are get rid of.

Interesting property

Very clean; gas fireplace in the living room was a plus. Bathroom a distance from the bedroom was a bit of an inconvenience. The "river" is a relatively small, but picturesque creek. Having a herd of deed in the meadow was a definite plus. The connection to another cabin could have been a minus had those guests been noisy. One needs to know how to get to Sling TV to get the TVs in the living room and bedroom fully operational. No problem with internet connection. All amenities were available and the property was clean.

We were totally impressed with the location, price and the cabin. We will definitely be staying there again and recommending to our friends & family.

The setting could not have been more perfect! The river and wildlife were great!

I only gave 2 stars because of the property. It had a very awkward layout. The frige didnt have a freezer that i could find. The Wi-Fi didn't work and the tv remote batteries were dead. I can't recommend :(
