Hotel is a block away from Rome terminal so easy to get around. Several eating options within steps of the front door, rooms are clean, maid service is excellent, room spacious and bed comfortable. Lots of hot water and everything worked. Front staff are somewhat helpful, check-in was delayed 2hrs even though I was told in advance I could check in early. All major attractions are within walking distance, tons of shopping all around. Good option for ease of getting around. Would stay again

The hotel is very close to Roma Trimini and the hop on and hop off busses were also close by. Many good places to eat near by. The area outside the hotel is dirty and questionable people hung near the hotel, but we were left alone. The breakfast selection was delicious, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh bread, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The staff that tended to breakfast was exceptional. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The room has air condition and it worked great until the last night when it stopped working, but we opened window and it was cool enough. Our shower leaked through the shower door and got water all over the floor, but it was tolerable. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

It was a last minute reservations and an absolute relief to stay there. Very pleasant and helpful staff, quiet, spacious comfortable room for the two of us. Perfect rooftop breakfast included. Easy walking to Trevi fountain and Colosseum areas among other sites. Staff pointed us to several very great restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Easy to catch an early morning flight to FCO and they even packed us a breakfast to go. When in Rome we will stay there again!

Hotel Gioberti is located very close to the train station. It is clean and comfortable with a fridge and large safe. So close to many good restaurants and an easy place to walk to sites.

my arrival date July 30. I’m writing to express my grand disappointment with the experience I’ve had in this hotel. Our first night our lights in the room would not turn on, your maintenance staff needed to access the breaker in the room and had difficulty for over 10 minutes. Our second day, the trash in our room had not been taken out, we called the front desk about it but no one came. At that same time, our lights would not turn on AGAIN. the Same maintenance worker came and figured out it was a faulty key, he took the key but we were then left with just 1. Later that evening, we realized that the lights would not turn OFF! Unless removing the key entirely , but that also meant we would not have bathroom light or air conditioning. We called front desk and were met with much hostility, I was told no one could help me and I was going to just have to sleep with the electricity off in the room. Your front desk staff told me he could not leave the front because it was against “Italian law” and there was no one to help. He offered to move us to a room on the 3rd floor, but I have a 7 month old daughter and no assistance- this was not feasible. As you know, I demanded to speak with a manager because it was unprecedented and ridiculous to hear that there was nothing any one could do about the faulty electricity in my room and not have ANY ASSISTANCE! I was finally then given a key to room 504, and at midnight I had to move all of my belongings alone, with my infant daughter.

Easy to miss, but it's a solid hotel. We had a very pleasant experience: the room was good size, the complimentary breakfast was very welcome and tasty, and the location was not that bad, easy to get around the city! However, the check in was kind of average, we were the only ones in the lobby and the guy looked and talked like he was pissed off. Can't say the same about the other staff though, everyone else was very kind and helpful. It was also hard to find authentic restaurants, most of them looked scammy, sketchy or didn't have Italian food.
