This was the most disappointing stay I’ve experienced. The listing photos are extremely misleading and clearly very outdated. The apartment today is worn, outdated, and poorly maintained.The unit needs a deep cleaning. The duvets were yellowed and looked dirty, the walls and curtains were dingy, and there was a strange smell throughout the apartment. The furniture looks old and mismatched, not what you would expect for the price. The beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable, and there were only four pillows total for three guests staying four nights.Basic supplies were also lacking — only four rolls of toilet paper were provided and there were no napkins or paper towels at all. There are also maintenance issues, including a large crack from top to bottom in the second bathroom mirror.This was especially disappointing because I brought my daughters to Rome for their first visit and had really looked forward to this stay. Instead, the condition of the apartment made them uncomfortable. I even considered leaving early for a hotel but availability for three guests was limited during Holy Week. To be fair, the host representative who checked us in was very kind and allowed early check-in, which we appreciated. The location is also excellent and walkable to major attractions. Unfortunately, those were the only positives. This property needs updating, proper cleaning, and more accurate photos.
