Nice hotel but a bit disappointed with the shower

Stayed for one night here and was impressed in general. Decor was a little dated in the room but the bathroom was nice and modern. Very clean rooms with good service and good location. Would stay here again if I was in the local area. Only real criticism was the water pressure in the showers...was extremely weak and the valve that changes from overhead shower to hand held shower would barely switch due to the low pressure. I was on the top floor so perhaps the lower floors might have more pressure

Ottimo hotel in centro.In posizione strategica sia per escursioni lungo la costa jonica che per trascorrere vacanze al mare. Camere spaziose e pulite con vista mare. Colazione varia con tante cose buone dolci e salate. Il pane caldo cotto nel forno a legna è il ricordo che porteró con me da questo breve soggiorno. Staff gentile e premuroso. Ottimo rapporto qualitá/prezzo.

An exceptionally friendly and efficient staff led by a first rate manager. Rocella ionica is an unexpected gem of a self contained town with miles of sandy beach. The hotel overlooks a shady square with railway and beach beyond. Hotel and town very dog friendly

Accolti con gentilezza

Soggiorno di una notte, durante un viaggio in Calabria. Servizio ottimo, personale preparato, stanza ben pulita, bagno confortevole e pulito. Colazione standard continentale che non delude. Mobilia un po' retro', uno stile che a noi non piace, ma è soggettivo. A parte questo dettaglio ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ma in particolare ci è piaciuta la gentilezza di tutto il personale.

Un hotel PULITO e ACCOGLIENTE!!!

Appena arrivati l'hotel esteriormente non appariva al massimo, però si trova in posizione centrale, vicino alla stazione, sulla piazza principale e a pochissimi metri dal mare (che ho scoperto essere Bandiera Blu da moltissimi anni). Una volta entrati dentro, siamo stati accolti da personale professionale e molto simpatico che ci ha fatto sentire come in famiglia, cercando in tutti i modi di farci stare come a casa, consigliandoci i migliori locali dove cenare e proponendoci luoghi meravigliosi da visitare. Andiamo in camera e ci siamo trovati davanti una vista mare meravigliosa, con mobili un po' retro però funzionali e un letto comodissimo (che è la cosa che conta!!!). Il bagno anche se non grandissimo era molto pulito, la doccia era fatta nuova e le asciugamano davano la sensazione di fresco e pulito. Ci siamo trovati una piacevolissima sorpresa in camera a darci il benvenuto e anche la connessione WiFi era ottima. La mattina siamo stati ulteriormente colpiti da una colazione ottima: torte, cornetti, frutta fresca, creme e dolci eccezionali (forse potrebbe essere migliorata di poco la parte salata, ma quella dolce era eccezionale). E infine abbiamo pagato un prezzo più che adeguato a quello che ci è stato offerto. Speriamo di poterci tornare presto!!!

Hotel was well located and the rooms spacious. The reception staff were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately,our shower had mould and the general cleanliness left a great deal to be desired. The hotel website advertises they run a coeliac kitchen - as I'm gluten intolerant, this was a factor in my selection of this hotel. After our first breakfast where there was nothing gluten free in offer, I asked if they had gluten free bread. Waitress said she would enquire but 4 days later when we left nothing had been organized.
