Spacious and Cozy Oasis on Monument Avenue

Our Monument Avenue Oasis offers a spacious retreat with unique amenities, right in the heart of Richmond, VA. This charming home combines comfort and convenience, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploration. Highlights include a large kitchen and a fully fenced-in, large backyard with ample seating and plenty of character. With an inviting open floor plan, this home provides everything you need to feel right at home. It has tons of character, something for all four seasons, and the backyard does not look like it belongs in Richmond, Virginia.

The upstairs is perfectly laid out for comfort. The master suite could be a stay in and of itself with a private bathroom complete with a shower and jacuzzi and the two guest rooms are spacious, equipped with mounted TVs and exude a feeling of cleanliness and zen.

This house has amenities galore. Pool table, dart board, board games, GREAT sectional couch, bar area with stools, breakfast hightop, small workout room with smart TV to cast your workout app on, areas for dogs to lounge, office with designated workspace, library of books, pack n play, TVs in all bedrooms..and that's just the inside.

Outside features plenty of options for lounging and socializing, grill (propane), outdoor bar area, outdoor refrigerator, salt water pool (opens May 1st!), firepit, solar string lights surround raised stone area where firepit is, turf area for yard games, string lights lining the fence for perfect ambiance at night, and a fully fenced in situation perfect for dogs and privacy. Our neighbors are AWESOME so you don't have to worry about noise from other properties or being bothered.

The pool is open from May 1st thru Mid October! We have dropped prices already, knowing the temps aren't conducive to swimming any more. All of our rates are adjusted keeping in mind when the pool is open or not, so naturally you'll find significantly cheaper rates when it's closed.

10/10 We had a wonderful stay! Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Great communication with the host, check-in and check-out was a breeze. We loved the home, great use of space, and everything was clean and comfortable. The highlight was the back yard, it was so great to have a fully fenced yard for our dog and we were able to enjoy the last bit of summer sun lounging by the pool - which was extremely clean and well maintained. The location was great too, far enough from the city center to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet in a safe neighborhood, and off street parking is a major bonus! Close enough to Cary Town, the Fan, and Short Pump to be able to enjoy shops and restaurants within a 10-12 minute drive. Restaurants in Cary Town also delivered to us at the property. I would absolutely recommend this gem of a stay!

Family Time

Our adult children all live in Richmond, this home gave us plenty of space to visit and enjoy our time together. The saltwater pool was a treat on the hot days. Plenty of restaurants nearby, so cooking was minimum. Anna, the property manager, was very responsive to questions and inquiries.

Great getaway!

Anna’s place is a great get away. The property has anything you might need - and the outdoor space is divine. It’s perfectly situated so its 10 minutes from anything - Cary St, museums, Botanic Garden! Its also near grocery stores and a coffee shop. Anna was very responsive to questions. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Excellent Place to Stay in Richmond!

We rented Anna's place for a close to two week stay when my son and daughter-in-law were due to give birth to twins. They live right around the corner, so we were less than a half mile away from them. I wanted to have a place I could bring my other two grandchildren to chill with us or maybe spend a night. First off, the place feels like you are in a ski lodge. Pool table, dartboard, games, several tvs, etc made it warm and cozy and inviting. There are lots of spaces for people to spread out. We didnt get to use the backyard because it snowed but in the summer, it would be lovely and its very private. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices, utensils, kids' dishes and dog bowls. The master bed and the bedding were super comfy and cozy. There are separate heat/ac units upstairs and down and the temp was always comfortable and not drafty. Getting into the unit was super easy with a code lock front door. The house is on a fairly main street but we were shocked at how quiet it is! There is ample parking in the driveway and out in front of the house. Supermarket is practically walking distance away. Toddlers loved the big chalkboard in the guest bedroom! Owner was super responsive to any communication. Highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Richmond who needs a bit more space!

We really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen was very ell equipped for cooking…with pots and pans and utensils…I liked that you had basic things for example, ketchup and mustard…pepper and salt .

Well equipped and roomy

Our family of 4 adults and 2 small dogs enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. My niece lives just 6 minutes away so the property was very convenient. And even though we weren’t there in warm weather to enjoy the pool and outside activities we made great use of the well equipped kitchen and gathered in the living area for family get togethers. Had a great visit.

Perfect!

We loved our stay and did not want to leave! Would have stayed longer if it was available. Host communicated everything well and was very responsive. Pool is absolutely amazing, gorgeous clear water, nice size, backyard is decorated so beautiful and privacy is great. I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub too! My teenagers had a blast both in the pool and playing darts, shooting pool, board games, etc inside. House is very spacious and clean.

Great Stay near Tuckahoe/Uof R area

Six of us from 3 generations stayed at this home for a family event. The location is perfect. Whether you want to travel to Short Pump, Brown's Island, Scott's Addition, Carytown, Shockoe Bottom, etc you can drive almost anywhere within 15 minutes. The house itself was perfect for our family: the pool table, the lovely outdoor space, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great water pressure, and plenty of off street parking on the premises are some of the highlights. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the excellent communication from the owner. I recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Great house for a weekend visit!

We were a group of six, and were very comfortable in this house. The dog loved the backyard to run and chase squirrels. It was a good location for celebrating my son's graduation from VCU-close to downtown and his apartment.

Great Stay

We enjoyed staying at this house. It is very close to everything and the house had lots of amenities for us to just relax and be comfortable within the house. It was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive with all our questions. We look forward to staying here again during our next visit in Richmond.
