Beautiful home and large enough to comfortably fit a large group of people with everyone having their own space to chill. The kitchen was not well-stocked with just some of the basic necessities (pot holders, salt & pepper, plastic storage containers, grill spatula). The grill is more for a smaller sized home, as well as the washer and dryer. For a home this size, I would definitely recommend larger capacity items.We did have an issue with the dishwasher not properly draining and leaking on one occurrence, as well as a light switch that had to be changed out due to a possible shortage. The maintenance guy, Tony, was great! The house could use some updating, the carpet needs to be replaced or cleaned, and the bottom floor room is a bit “musty.”There’s no locked receptacle for trash and there’s a hungry black bear that enjoys breaking into the trash cans, despite the “locks” that are made onto the cans. He’s still able to get inside and make a big mess for visitors to clean up each morning. Beds were comfortable and the view from the balconies are phenomenal. Short walk to the beach and the location is perfect. Overall, the stay was great and with some minor improvements, this could be a perfect home to rent on a yearly basis. We enjoyed our time at Southern Belle.
