My wife & I (both retired) booked the Little Sandpiper because it was in Port Royal neighborhood (just off main Paris Ave that south toward the Sands little beach), which is somewhat near where our daughter’s family lives. We were a little apprehensive because there weren’t many reviews on VRBO (perhaps it was rented through another service until recently), and because of clearly stated fact that the rental did not include the front door entry & living room; we never heard a sound from that part of the house). So the rental consisted of a long gravel driveway with plenty of room for our car and our daughter’s when visiting with our grandchildren, a cute little backyard with firepit (we didn’t use), a screened back porch with chairs as entry door, keypad entry into kitchen (well-stocked, with little table & two chairs & stool, and very clean large refrigerator), then hallway to main bedroom (with comfortable King bed and two closets and Roku TV we could use our own app logins), then bathroom (with large walk-in shower, and a small second bedroom which we barely used as a “den” with our grandchildren for a few hours (has a day bed and recliner chair and another older less intuitive TV).The house was older and a cool kind of funky, but fine for us and host Maddie was great and very responsive. Neighborhood is great with restaurants, Maynard’s ice cream & Shellring Brewery walking distance. Window air conditioners kept house cool. We’d stay again for sure!
