Cozy and well decorated, but too lived in to be suitable as a vacation rental. For starters, the yard was covered in trash. The lakeside view mentioned is also blocked by other properties…really, that was what I was paying most of the money for, and what I was most excited for, and I was disappointed. To view it well, I had to walk a considerable distance off the property. Then inside the house… it was clean, and cozy as the pictures show, but some of the light switches for the main area were not covered properly and the main light and ceiling fan didn’t work at all. Then beds in the rooms were made and everything was organized. However, the mattress in one of the rooms had completely exploded and just been made over anyways. The upstairs bathroom was fine, except door handle was broken and held with tape. Got stuck inside, had to call for help to get out. The upstairs hall light didn’t even have bulbs. The kitchen was difficult. All the cookware was too used up, and is in need of replacements. Most of the pans were bent out of shape, the knives were very dull, and the dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Had to go out and get cookware. The sink drain was so small that water filled the sink even when open and uncovered. It was clean and toiletries, linens, towels were stocked, which was a plus. Overall, it was okay, but the little things added up, and made the stay difficult. Would not stay again.
